About me:

My name is Sara Ricke and I am first of all a wife and mom. Married my high school sweetheart after college, and we have three cute kiddos. I am my family’s organizer. Now, that comes from being a bit of a control freak (am I allowed to admit to that here?) - I hold the family calendar in my grubby little hands and am the keeper of the schedules. Okay, really that just means that I get all the schedules, games, practices, play dates, school functions and such and try to get us there on time. "Try" being the operative word most days.

We moved several times at the beginning of our marriage through my husband's job transfers… and what I found I enjoyed the most was turning whatever apartment, townhouse or house we lived in into a home. We also found that we are the "fixer-upper" types. I go into every home and can’t help but analyze what really works and what could be better. The home we live in now was a bit rough – but with good " bones" when we bought it… Eight years and bunches of remodeling and TLC later we are in my dream home.

I love organization. Not to the point where I need counseling or anything (ha!) but I really do love to organize. Whether it is my own house a family member's pantry (so far they still invite me back) or helping a friend drag furniture around and around to find the Perfect Placement. Mmmm… a dream come true? I have put in hours and hours purely for fun – and think that I have reached the point where I can bring this to the marketplace and share what I know and what I love to do with others! Oh, and if I’m right – I get to do a job that I still love! Whoo-hoo!
